We started LO:TECH in 2023 on a simple belief: that capital markets were going to move onto new digital rails.

Three years on, it isn’t really a theory any more. 24/7 markets. Tokenised assets. Perpetual venues, prediction markets, programmable settlement. All of it is becoming part of the financial mainstream, and we’ve spent the whole time building the infrastructure to trade it.

The Local W.M.C.

The Local WMC is our podcast and event series. It’s named after the good old working men’s and social clubs found across the UK. They epitomise the most grounded version of community this country has come up with: cheap drinks, a game of snooker or darts, a bit of live entertainment, no pretence whatsoever.

We take this same attitude when it comes to The Local WMC podcast and event series. A pub studio was built in our London HQ, where Tim (CEO), Marcus (CTO) and a series of guests chew the fat over beers.

Similarly, The Local WMC events are hosted in London every few months - a semi-debauched pub takeover, and and different cities around the world throughout the year.
